Awards Ceremony: Ten categories includingAcademic Excellence (UG & PG), Community Impact, Innovation & Research, Outstanding Leadership, Emerging Entrepreneur, CONSUJ Volunteer of the Year, Faculty Ally, Media & Arts, Sports Achievement, and Lifetime Contribution. Winners included Prof. Olayinka Erin (research), student tech founders, volunteer coordinators, and long-serving mentors.
Inauguration: The new executive team was sworn in with the traditional oath, followed by the symbolic gavel handover and acceptance speeches outlining priorities: enhanced welfare support, stronger alumni ties, and expanded cultural programming.
Entertainment & Gala Dinner: Live highlife and Afro-fusion performances, a red-carpet photo moment, and a feast of jollof, pepper soup, assorted proteins, desserts, and drinks kept the energy high.
Guest Speakers: UJ faculty and diaspora leaders shared insights on global Nigerian influence and the power of collective action.
